There are 3 ways to setup a user for the GoToManage Crawler to use.
This one uses the least possible permissions, but, it’s the most difficult to setup.

Please watch the video for two main steps:

1) Set DCOM permissions using a GPO (Group Policy)
2) set WMI permissions using a script (startup or logon)

Also Included below is a program that will help you build the script.

Click her to download ‘Build-script-WMI-permissions.exe’

I hope you like it!

My search on Vimeo for GoToManage only turned up four videos, none of them the correct one. Possibly its not showing up quite yet if you just uploaded it so I will check back later.

I receive the following error after running the script after the first window indicating the steps to perform when it appears to be opening the WMIMgmt.msc. If i open the WMIMgmt.msc manually i receive no issues or errors. It appears only when running the WMI-Build-script-WMI-permissions executable. Any suggstions would be appreciated. Thanks
