I have @ 700 laptops in field outside of corporate LAN. All laptops are not connected to internet all times, occesionaly it gets connected to internet(@ 2 to 3 times a day).

We would like to send message/alert ( e.g server is schedule for maintanace next week etc) to laptops whenever laptops gets connected to internet or gotomanage app. Currently, we have to phone call all 700 users manually—which is really time consuming.

We are looking at third party software ( e.g DeskAlert or some sort of Instant Messagger software). DeskAlert push alert/message to laptops when laptops connects to internet.

I assume, Gotomanage agent install on laptop can perform similar function, when laptops makes internet connection, agent contact server, and server pushes messges to laptops .

These feature can be very helpful and it eliminate to maintain additional third party software. This functionaly can be extend to Instant messagner as well.
